Adults Xmas Party! (I got to go too and will now be called the Little Drumming Girl)

Ta da! I am just the best little Drumming Girl Eva! Already busting da moves with the drum!

This is Auntie Lizeer impersonating a reindeer, she was the main instigator in the Xmas party and those antler's. Everyone knows that there noses do not really flash! I am pretty sure that she really thinks she is a reindeer with the antlers on!

Cath also thinks she is a reindeer! Doug has also caught the reindeer disease for the night!

Here is another convert, it is a Chookyeer and a Pualeer and a Mummyeer1

My Daddyeer (with saggy antlers) was my leading inspiration for me to become the Little Drummer Girl and was just giving me a few musical pointers to launch my career.
This was one of the funnest nights eva with sooooo many beautiful people and soooo much yummy food that I can remember. The end of the night did turn out a little spoilt however as I had a big spew all over Lizeer in da troopy! This was not so much fun and will be a lesson for Mummy and Daddy not to let me party too hard at real Xmas!

School Xmas Party!

Some may say that I like to party well let me tell you about last Saturday. After camping out at Mt Benstead Creek Mum mum mum mum, Cath and I went for a little stroll along the river of sand (there is no water cos we live in da desert). The we had some yummy jaffles on the fire which I didn't want so Mum and Cath shared the jaffle with bacon (apparently this is within the vegetarian diet).
Daddy, Jess and Paul were there too but they got on their bikes early and decided to ride home via Ross River Resort! I don't know what they were thinking cos they were already up to 40kms before starting back to Alice Springs. That was over 100km for the day on a bike, mum and I decided to live life in the fast lane as we beat them back in the troopy. Daddy collapsed for the afternoon and we all had a nap!

Waking in time for the staff childrens Party at St Philip's College. It was amaaaaaazing with parse the parcel and a balloon lady (she wasn't made out of balloons which was a bit disappointing but she could blow them up and made me a poodle). All the silly boys got swords and wondered why they popped when they were whacking each other.

Here I am seeing Santa for the first time! I really wasn't too sure about sitting on Santa's lap (A.K.A. _________ can you guess?) but he gave me a present which was great.

Here I am finding out that I am going to be able to play the maracas, drums, trumpet and tambourine. I am sure this will bring hours of entertainment for all!

Ladders and Lunch!

I have actually been very busy in my day to day life so it can be hard to fit in the time for photo opportunities. Here are a couple of recent snaps that Mummy and daddy think are really funny. Personally I am a little imbarassed that they let me have hair like this on a daily basis!
Here I am in my element, nuddie ruddie time in the backyard with a ladder. It really is so much freer than having a nappy on and soooo much easier to get up the ladder!
Feeding time at the zoo!

Daddy and Benno at Buffalo

My Daddy disappeared for a couple of days to go and have some 'Man Time' with his mate Benno. They were up for a bit of a mission so had planned to go up an Australian classic climb called Ozymandias at Mt Buffalo. Below is a photo of the hugemungous 270 meter climb. It goes up the centre of the photo starting down in the gully then directly up through the orange rock and overhangs to the top. I think Daddy and Benno are crazy (not really, I love climbing but Mummy stresses about it. She always goes on and on about how hard it was in New Zealand!)
Below Dad blows off after a number of failed attempts. He and Benno made so many decisions and then couldn't do the climb because the weather was terrible. Daddy thinks this is funny on the horrendous walk out but now I just kick his head around in the back yard!
Here is Benno on the way back down after the first attempt! Cool clouds we don't get them much in the Alice. He looks shagged after his fight with all of Daddy's small nut! Ben had some of his own nuts too!
My Daddy looked like an Xmas tree with all that stuff hanging off him just before they abseiled into the gorge. I can't wait for Xmas! Then there is Ben with the Pig! It really does not look like a pig but that was the big bag they had all their stuff in for sleeping and staying dry.

Benno is rapping down into the clouds, it looks really slippery and hard to find things like the rappel station. Dad didn't find one of them on the way down so had to improvise (that mustn't be too hard cos Mummy does sooooooo much improv in da kitchen. dad must be soft!). Then the last one is all the hardware that they took on the climb they didn't get too do. Daddy says it was soooooo heavy!

Palm Valley Overnight

It has been a bit of a drought since my adventures on Leadership Course where I really embraced camping so I have been having a word to Mummy. "Make Daddy take us outdoors even if it is only a night!" Mummy thought it was just cos I wanted to go but it was really cos Mummy was a grumpy M%^e! Anyways we got out on Friday the 18th of November for a quickie to Palm Valley.
Here we are playing happy families. Mummy and Daddy clearly disregarding any weather warnings at the start of a 2 hour walk! I could see a white scrawl coming so was a little apprehensive not to mention that Daddy had me hanging over the edge of a cliff!
Daddy just can't help himself climbing stuff! Everyone wonders why I climb stuff too? Mummy and I having breakkie. I don't mind saying so but I am pretty damn good with a spoon these days!

Daddy just isn't happy enough with taking normal photos so he likes to get "up close and personal". He made me put these in cos he liked them :( It does show what some of the rock was like cos that's important to Daddy and how cool the Red Cabbage Palms are (Only the baby ones are Red)!

Whats in da box?

Today one of my favouritest people Liz arrived in a box. Well she actually admitted that she is now committed to cycling great distances and seemed to think that the Enduro was not out of the realms of possibility. Liz went for a ride with Dad who was huffin and puffin a lot when he got home. Liz had not even raised a sweat so she got in the box! That does seem a little crazy doesn't it but she was just sooooooo excited about riding bikes.

Cyclist in Da Nuddy

My Mummy and Daddy think they are soooooooooo good just cos they get around on their bikes but I am living it up and showing them that anyone can ride a bike! Mum is just jealous that she can not get away with this sort of riding. I luv my bike!

Getting Ready for Bed!

Apparently these sunnies are making a comeback! Mummy has been wearing these recently but I am not really sure what all the fuss is about! I believe that Auntie Gnome still thinks they are cool, as I have it on a good authority that she used to wear them when she was at school. Soooooooo groovey baby!
This is how Daddy helps settle me down for bed! I don't think Mummy thinks it is a good idea but she was taking the photos!

Me In Da Bike Shop

Mum and Dad seem to spend lots of time on these things so I thought i should have a bit of a go. It was really cos mummy was sooooooooo bored cos dad always goes into bike shops! You would never have guessed but it was a yucky day in Melbourne outside.

Visiting Nonna and Trolley Surfing at Da Mall

Nonna is one of my biggest fans and we recently took a trip for the school holidays. Nonna was on the hit list for this little trip. Nonna had just had a perm and Mummy and I had also spent a lot of time doing our hair specially for this day.

While visiting Nonna I decided to show Daddy a new sport of trolley surfing in public areas. Apparently this has been done before and we were lucky that centre management didn't haul us down to the cop shop. Daddy selected a Dan Murpheys trolley which was strange cos we didn't go there and then made me push him around for ages while Nonna and Mummy watched. There were heaps of other people watching too. when they stared I would just say that "Daddy made me do it"!

I did however take the opportunity while the security guard was not looking to have a little go myself as daddy really didn't know what he was doing!

at the farm

this is me saying hello to the horsies. i wasn't scared at all, i just walked straight up to them and said hi
daddy thought it would be funny to be put this photo of me in with my breakfast still all over my face!
here i am saying hello to Nikki. she is my favourite horse and i kept following her around but she kept walking away.
daddy and me with Nikki and Herman
here i am educating mum about the birds and the bees!!

OMG, how cool is the chair that daddy cut for me with the chainsaw?!! I am sooooooo lucky

i am also the happiest little girl in the valley :-)

what is dad doing putting this stupid massive chainsaw hat on my head? he is such a silly sausage.
it was quite fun though (wearing the chainsaw helmet that is). i do look pretty cool really, don't I? . you can see here i am the complete farm chick; using the chainsaw to chop down fallen trees, driving the tractor to lift, pull, and push stuff, and lighting fires to rid of scrap wood. yep, ive got this farm stuff SORTED!
.,mxn, bzznnznbbbnjc unxidjsjxhcnhbm (This what I really think. That was me writing just there, that's how us babies actually communicate, you adults wouldn't understand, oh chooky might! anyway this is me in my high chair at the farm.)

Me supporting my friends at the Melbourne Marathon

Doug and Liz are some of my favouritest people in the world! I decided that we should all go and run a marathon. Mummy and Daddy didn't agree but I managed to make them go and watch Liz and Doug do it with GrIan (that is Grandpa Ian for short). It is lucky that i managed to get Liz and Doug to run cos they raised over $13,000 which was multiplied by 10 by World Vision that's just over $130,000 all cos of me :). That is all going to the Starving People of South Africa. Next year they are going to run the new York Marathon and raise even more money. Mummy says no f&^$^%$(*&g Way to doing that! auntie Liz thinks she is wearing her down though.
Here they are at the 20km spot just before halfway. You can see that Auntie Liz was having a great time and Doug was pretty happy about it all here too. It was easy to see Doug coming cos his hair could be seen from a long way away that was a bonus to see Liz cos she was harder to see. Mummy and Daddy wouldn't get out of bed early enough to see the start so I was a little grumpy that this was the first time we saw them.

Her I am at the 40km point it had been a long time up until now so I have decided to drink Liz and Doug's water and eat their food. Supporting is a full time job and you have to maintain your intake of energy so that you can finish strong.
Doug and Liz look great after their run. They have cool medals to wear for the rest of their lives. They only took 3hours and 52 minutes!
It was hard work supporting so I had to tie my balloon on to stop it getting away.
Well done Doug and Liz and balloons are cool
